He still would not absolutely rule out the possiblity that there is a small leak but said most likely it is cervical fluid that is being released as my body starts to prepare for labor (also, I've been being checked at my apointments due to contractions and that was the first appointment where my cervix started thinning out). I tested negative for amniotic fluid and my levels are great. I told my OB all that and they tested and did an ultrasound to check fluid levels. And it's not urine (or at least not only urine, lol) because I've checked and there is a clear watery like discharge that comes out of me (all I have to do is stick my finger in just a bit to find this out). Sometimes it will start to dry and then before it does, I'm wet again. My underwear stay wet almost all day now. The same thing has been going on with me since around 36 or 37 weeks (about 38 now). There is a good chance it is just discharge though. I know you're already at your apointment but I would ask them to test for amniotic fluid. ![]()
